We have just started using Avidian Prophet. It works from within Outlook and so far it has worked seamlessly.

My favourite feature is that when an email comes in concening a new opportunity all I have to do is click on the AddOns tab, click create new opportunity, it creates a new contact for the mail sender if one does not already exist (which I then give a category to), and then creates a new opportunity related to that sender. It even includes the content of the original mail in the opportunity notes.

My next favourite feature is the mass email function which allows me to filter group emails by contact category set in Outlook and blast off quick messages to targeted groups. It really is a very tidy process.
